Turkuaz Meyhane Phangan

Great vibes, even better food. When we arrived at Turkuaz, we were surprised that the restaurant was empty, perhaps due to the low season. The food was of superb quality. They ran out of lamb ( with about half the portion left) so the owner cooked it for us anyway, on the house. If you’re looking for well grilled meat kebabs, check Turkuaz out.

As a Turkish guy I wanted to check out this restaurant next to my hotel. I am so glad I did. The decoration is very authentic. Owner Mehmet is the chef who prepared a Meze plate and Adana kebab for me. So tasty. I also drank Raki with the meal. Highly Recommended.

A gem for those who are craving authentic Mediterranean flavors on Koh Phangan. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves fresh, delicious food. Many vegetarian meze platters and the BBQ was very delicious. Definitely we will visit again.

A little taste of Turkey in paradise! We recently visited Turkuaz in Koh Phangan and were so impressed with the entire experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with beautiful Turkish touches that make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to Istanbul. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and cooked with love. We tried almost everything. Especially manti was really delicious. Memes were also amazing! You can really feel the passion behind the cooking. The owners are so kind and friendly, and they made us feel right at home. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality. Whether you’re craving comfort food or curious to try something new, Turkuaz is a must-visit on the island. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be coming back!

Honestly, after travelling around the world including Turkey itself, this is perhaps the best shish kebab I've had in my life. Not sure how anyone could give this a low rating, the staff were very welcoming and food is incredible! Thanks! And I will definitely be revisiting before I leave koh phangan!

A taste of Istanbul in Koh Phangan ???????? We stumbled upon Turkuaz Meyhane and ended up having one of the best meals of our trip. Everything we ordered tasted genuinely Turkish – from the meze to the grilled mains, full of flavor and perfectly seasoned. The staff was super friendly and recommended a bottle of Raki that paired perfectly with the dishes. You can tell there’s real passion behind the food here. Feels like a little slice of Istanbul by the sea. We’ll definitely be back!

In a tropical island like this, i wouldn’t expect to see such a classic Mediterranean tavern with authentic Turkish food. You should try Adana Kebab and raki (the Turkish traditional alcohol drink). The taste is amazing!
